 | ... pavement cafés and restaurants | In summer establishments use means and provide service outdoors, an alternative to the closed spaces that the good weather (and the Town Hall) allows.
Having a beer, another type of drink or a nibble on a terrace is a way of enjoying good Spanish customs and gourmets also have their place. On this page, we shall propose various areas where they meat in restaurants with a terrace. | | Plaza Mayor |
 | The Plaza Mayor, a starting point for tourists in monumental, historic Madrid, offers typical Madrid gastronomy, which could not be any other way. | | Area around Padre Damián (Cuzco) |
Behind the Santiago Bernabéu stadium, the Calle Padre Damián glories in various restaurants with terraces, near Alberto Alcocer. On the one hand, there is A´Tarantella, with a very pleasant, secluded terrace, this is followed by Pasta Nostra Pizza Nostra and Carta Marina (the last two without a terrace), and a VIP's. Green predominates so you will forget you are surrounded by buildings.
Crossing Alberto Alcocer you will find the Mesón Cinco Jotas and El Telégrafo, with various, well-placed external spaces. An area at a distance from dense traffic. |
 | There is a very varied selection of restaurants throughout this long avenue bordering the Casa de Campo. Wide terraces, with a lot of space, as if the city relaxes here and ceases for a moment to contract and become congested. A very enjoyable option. | | The Callejón de Puigcerdá |
This is a pedestrian street, far from the noise of the traffic. Undoubtedly the favourite corner of many of the Madrid gourmets, where now in the summer the new terrace space of El Amparo, and that of Matilda (our favourite) can be enjoyed.
Only a few steps away are the classics such as Alkalde and Thai Gardens, in the Calle Jorge Juan. | Castellana - Recoletos |
 | You will be able to see some famous Madrid terraces, such as that of El Espejo, the terrace of the Café Gijón or that of Embassy, from the Plaza de Colón, where the Paseo de la Castellana and the Paseo de Recoletos meet, where you can sit down to eat "à la carte". | | ¡Enjoy the summer in Madrid! |
